Keep up with your school, and start your CV early
Follow your school’s news and results, join its clubs and communities, and practise for exams. From Senior 4 your profile turns into a CV you can download and send.
What you can do
- Follow your school and others, and read their posts, results and events.
- Write your own posts, up to 3,000 characters with 4 photos.
- Comment, react and connect, once you’ve confirmed your account with the 6-digit code we email you.
- Join your school’s communities, reply to events and give to a fundraiser from UGX 500 by mobile money.
- Write to a school that takes messages. If you’re under 18, a parent or guardian says yes first, and you can ask them from the app.
Build your record
Your profile grows from the day you join your school. From Senior 4 it becomes a CV, and only you can see it.
What goes on it
- The schools you’ve attended
- Skills, projects, languages and volunteering you add yourself
What you can do with it
- Download it as a PDF or a Word file
- Apply for jobs and programmes on EduPress. If you don’t upload a CV, we attach this one.
- While you’re under 18 it shows your school’s contact details, never your phone or email
Applying for a job
You need to be 16 or older, and to prove who you are with a national ID, passport or driving licence and a selfie. If you’re under 18, your guardian is told when you apply, and an employer gets your contact details only when they invite you to an interview and your guardian agrees.
Practise for exams
Take practice quizzes in your subjects, and ask Tyra, the study tutor, when you’re stuck. See what’s on Study.
If you’re under 18
- You won’t show up in people search, and adults can’t connect with you or message you.
- You can connect only with other students under 18.
- You never see adverts.
- You can block or report anyone. If a guardian is linked to you, they’re told when you do.
